About the programme
Interior design combines art with engineering science: it harmonises colour, light, materials, style and decorative objects to create spaces where people live, work and rest.
The programme was first offered in 2007 to train interior design graduates with the knowledge, professional skills, ethics and work habits that companies and society need. It has been accredited and certified by an education quality assurance centre under the Ministry of Education and Training.
The 2026 curriculum has 165 credits and draws on programmes at NAFA (Singapore), KMUTT (Thailand), Swinburne (Australia) and AUT (New Zealand). 65–70% of courses focus on applied practice; its backbone is a sequence of fourteen interior design studios, each a different type of space, from homes to a comprehensive project.
